Full-time: Monday to Thursday (night shift)

Hours: 18:00 – 06:00 (60 min unpaid break)

Rate of Pay: £11.83 per hour

We are looking for a Baler Operator to join our MID UK Recycling division at Barkston (near Grantham).

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • To operate and adjust equipment
  • To maintain quality of bales by monitoring equipment operation; completing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting failures
  • To maintain equipment and report any issues detected  
  • To abide by & promote Health & Safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed
  • To maintain the work area
  • To complete relevant documentation and paperwork as required
  • To perform other duties as the Company may from time to time reasonably require
  • The right candidate will receive full training for the above duties including operation of the machines.

Skills/Experience:

Applicants must be reliable, punctual, self-motivated, capable of working within a team and demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to Health and Safety.  

Equipment Maintenance is preferred but not essential.
